Design NJ Website Redesign

PROJECT

I worked in collaboration with the publishing and marketing teams to create an experience that embraced the beautiful photography of the magazine and the well-written content. I worked one-on-one with a developer who put my designs and edits into action.

ADDITIONS INCLUDE A STICKY HORIZONTAL HEADER WITH HAMBURGER MENU; HIDDEN SLIDING MENU WHICH ALLOWED US TO STILL UTILIZE THE EXISTING MENU BUT WITH MORE FUNCTIONALITY; AND AN INCREASE IN AD SPACE. ALSO REVISED WAS THE FOOTER TO INCLUDE THE MAGAZINE’S INSTAGRAM FEED, DIRECT LINKS TO IMPORTANT CONTENT, AND EASY CALL-TO-ACTIONS TO SUBSCRIBE TO BOTH THE MAGAZINE AND THE WEEKLY EMAIL NEWSLETTER.

TOOLS

Tools utilized were Photoshop and XD.

RESULTS

Within a year, the site’s traffic increased 2x.
