Creating Connection: An Internal Hub for Employees
To strengthen communication and connection within the company, I designed an internal landing page that serves as a central resource for employees. This platform includes company news, holiday and event details, DEI initiatives, and a gallery of past events, along with dedicated landing pages for large internal occasions. Updated bi-weekly, the hub keeps employees informed and engaged with ease.
I led the design process from start to finish, wireframing, creating comps, and designing interactive elements to ensure a seamless user experience. Collaborating with an outside developer, I ensured the vision came to life, balancing aesthetics with functionality.
The challenge was creating a design system that could accommodate frequent updates while remaining visually compelling and user-friendly. I focused on crafting a modular layout and intuitive navigation, making updates straightforward for the internal communications team.
The hub launched successfully and has become a go-to destination for employees. It streamlines communication, centralizes important resources, and reflects the company’s vibrant culture. Employee engagement has improved, and the bi-weekly updates are hassle-free, thanks to the design system.
