A Refreshing Refresh

I worked in collaboration with the publishing and marketing teams to create an experience that embraced the beautiful photography of the magazine and the well-written content. I worked one-on-one with a developer who put my designs and edits into action. Tools utilized were Photoshop and XD.

Within a year, the site’s traffic increased 2x.

Additions include a sticky horizontal header with hamburger menu; hidden sliding menu which allowed us to still utilize the existing menu but with more functionality; and an increase in ad space. Also revised was the footer to include the magazine’s Instagram feed, direct links to important content, and easy call-to-actions to subscribe to both the magazine and the weekly email newsletter.
